Bright dark purple core and hue. Youthful and ripe nose displaying mild oak and butterscotch with ripe blackberry, cassis, cherry, smoked meat and pepper. The palate shows dense fruit in a medium body, fleshy dark fruit with peppery notes, rounded tannin, a high level of ripeness, yet underlined by a good dose of acidity, a long and spicy-driven finish. Still on the youthful side with much more to give.
