Medium to deep ruby red colour with an aged rim. Intense nose with a high ripeness, new oak with hints of jammed fruit, roasted notes and spices. The palate is full, a bit on the firm side with high tannin and a lot of woody notes. Long finish but still on the austere unresolved side. Ambitious but a bit marked by the oak today.
