Intense dark purple core. The nose is youthful with new oak, some roasted notes, coffee bean, darker fruit like blackberry and cherry with liquorice and dry spices. The palate is still youthful with dense fruit and structure, good grip and length, roasted, spicy with crushed dark fruit and a long finish. Ambitious, still on the youthful side deserving some more time in the cellar.
