Derot Delugny – Millésime – 2008

Bright light golden colour with a youthful mousse. Pure nose, some chalky notes, pale stone fruit, citrus, fresh nuts and a hint of brioche. Very good grip on the palate, intense and fresh with juicy stone fruit, peach and ginger notes. The palate is nicely firm and fresh with a youthful texture, yet with nice purity, vibrancy and length. Should develop more complexity but is already quite delicious for its pure, ripe fruit.
