DGB Bellingham – The Bernard Series Old Vine – 2016

Bright light golden colour. Pure and intense nose with stony notes, yellow fruit, saffron and honey almost resembling a sweet wine. However, the palate is classically dry, yet bold and lush with a really dense structure, some roasted oak, vanilla and ripe stone fruit. Long and intense finish with high ripeness. A wine with plenty of stuffing, just appearing a bit youthful, should develop well.
