DGB Bellingham – The Bernard Series Organic Wine – 2012

Very dark and inky colour. High ripeness, modern and fleshy style with creme de cassis, black cherry and plum notes, some mild spices and new oak underneath. Very dense palate, quite massive with high extraction, new oak and layers of dark fruit. Balanced for its style, still just young and unresolved, ripe tannin, long finish, just needs time to open up.
