DGB Bellingham – The Bernard Series Small Barrel – 2012

Dense dark inky colour. High ripeness on the nose, a bit young and unresolved, inky dark fruit and new oak, rather modern and fleshy. The palate shows a high concentration with plenty of tannin. Still rather ripe and rounded in terms of extract, good stuffing and length, just needs time to develop nuance and character.
