Diamond Creek – Red Rock Terrace Cabernet Sauvignon – 2021

Intense dark purple core and approaching maturity on the rim. Beautiful purity and intensity showing stony notes, liquorice discreet toast, already well integrated oak and then layers of black cherry, cassis, sage, mint, tobacco and truffle. The palate shows great density and weight without heaviness, mouth-filling and grainy with immense but truly fine and powdery tannins, savoury and ripe, yet fresh fruit leading to a very long and lingering finish.
