Inky dark purple core and hue, high density, and viscosity. Layers of black inky fruit, cassis, blackberry, black cherry, with gentle balsamic and wild herbal notes. The wine boasts high density and concentration, yet remains youthful. But with good extraction and ripe tannin, intense and lingering dark berry flavours, no noticeable oak, perhaps a hint of butterscotch on the finish, very long, intense and meaty finish. A big wine in the making, still needing time to open.
