Deep golden towards amber colour. Intense, nutty and spicy nose with a clear presence of marc de champagne, pastry, glazed fig and dried fruit notes. The palate has good depth and complexity, flavour intense with darker chocolate and fruit flavours, more nutty than sweet with a high but not intrusive alcohol. Long, spicy and dense finish, plenty of character here.
