France,
Champagne,
Bright medium deep straw colour with fine bubbles. The nose is finely toasty with crushed nuts, pistachio, ripe citrus, apricot and some floral notes approaching maturity but still with a youthful bite to it. The palate has a very good grip, fine extract, bright freshness and layers of hazelnut, stone fruit, ripe citrus and a fine toastiness all along, rich and lingering finish with both persistency and a fine creaminess, a powerful example that is delicious now but should age tremendously.
