France,
Champagne,
Light golden colour with a fine mature mousseux. Intense and complex nose with fine maturity, fine toast, pain d´épices, ripe yellow fruit, candied lemon, nougat and floral hints. Very dense and fresh palate, classic dosage level yet appearing drier thanks to some age, sweet apricot and peach with a wealth of fine spices, roasted nuts and a supple creaminess backed by a bright acidity all along. Layered and complex with a gentle smokiness abundant stone fruit and a very long pure finish, bold and exotic almost like a German Riesling yet very Champagne and very impressive!
