Dark ruby with a purple hue. Still quite closed on the nose, needs some aeration before offering dark fruit as blackberry, cassis, pepper and clove. The palate has very nice density with grainy tannin, layers of dark fruit, cassis and plum with spicy notes of pepper and black olive, very good grip and length, should still develop but drink pretty well today.
