Dense dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Spicy nose with tobacco, black pepper, ripe dark fruit and fine leather. The palate has a dense fruitiness and concentration with a layered spiciness, fresh and vibrant with dense but ripe tannin, and a very long and vigorous finish. A full bodied and potent wine that will develop and gain a lot from further ageing. Superb!
