Intense dark purple colour. Quite exotic nose offering liquorice, balsamic hints, ripe black plum, cherry and cassis. The palate is dense but with a soft texture, mild tannin and sweet dark fruit flavours paired with spicy liquorice, tobacco, crème de cassis and a long supple finish.
