Inky dark purple core and hue. Fine intensity on the nose combining meaty and peppery notes with ripe blackberry, it certainly feels like Syrah. Ample palate with modest extraction, rounded tannin, good volume and layers of spicy dark fruit, some garrigue notes and an attractive meatiness leading to a long and spicy finish.
