Inky dark purple core and hue. Ambitious nose offering plenty of new oak, roasted notes, pepper, clove and layers of dark fruit. Dense palate, concentrated with good volume, a youthful texture but no hard edges, still oak dominated vanilla/butterscotch flavours but nice fruit, should need another 1-2 years to open and integrate.
