France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Quite low colour intensity, light straw yellow. The nose is pure and fresh, indicating a good ripeness, some tropical fruits in here, almost some hints of papaya and mango, yellow fruit, we might have a small hint of wood here, some nutty notes and some buttery hints, light touch of vanilla. The palate is dry, quite medium towards full body. Good degree of ripeness, well-integrated alcohol. Same fruits on the nose as on the palate, yellow fruit, papaya, mango, however it still keeps that dryness and freshness. So well made, but still in a rather warm climate style, oak is less evident, if there’s any oak on the palate. I like the finish, because it’s more dry, just leaving a sense of that nice dry fruit. Quite salivating, I would call it a gastronomic style, I would prefer to have this with something decent on the plate. Still youthful, it’s a style that I’d prefer in its youth, attractive and fresh from rather southerly latitudes.
