Dark purple core and a lighter rim. The nose expresses some new oak, roasted and smoky notes with ripe fruit, cassis, cherry, sweet spices and mocha notes. The palate is dense but nicely rounded with fine concentration and layers, fleshy modern fruit and a long lingering finish. Nicely done with an approaching complexity.
