Switzerland,
Vaud,
Youthful, quite pale colour, still with a green tinge. Fresh nose, pure, vibrant, with notes of wet stone, almond, citrus and green apple; quite discrete fruit at first. Clean and crisp palate, medium weight. Quite marked acidity, feels slightly higher acidity than the classical Chasselas style, more of that mouthwatering sensation. Still quite light-bodied, and that youthful fruit emerges after a while on the palate, giving off flavours of green apple, citrus, lime. So still a very youthful and restrained style, quite delicate for that purity and freshness. Medium weight, but a little bit more on the length; it keeps lingering. Fairly persistent in a pure, unoaked, and fresh style.
