Domaine de Gensac – Pesade – 2017

Gers
MEDAILLE-TASTED-92-2024
France,
Sud Ouest,
Inky dark purple core and hue. Youthful nose displaying some toast, leather, ripe dark berries, cassis and violet. The palate is dense and muscular, youthful texture with plenty of tannin that are well-integrated and add lift and freshness, fresh dark berry flavours, some mint and sage flavours, fine tobacco and a long lingering finish. A dense and tannic style but rather supple and approachable today for its style/origin.
