Inky black core with some maturity on the rim. Sweet nose approaching maturity with candied notes, sweet and jammed fruit, plum, prune, blackberry and mild spices. The palate is very dense and tannic, still a youthful tannic bite but nice concentration and layers of dark inky fruit, discreet oak and a long warm finish. An ambitious wine built for long ageing deserving some more time in the cellar.
