France,
Sud Ouest,
Intense opaque colour with a slight maturity on the rim. Intense nose, rather exotic and balsamic with new oak, wild herbs, inky black fruit, prune, liquorice and black truffle. Very dense and concentrated palate, very rich in tannin but has reached a good polish today, intense and lingering dark fruit flavours with an approaching complexity, very dense and very long finish. A wine that could age forever it seems. Now I want cassoulet!
