Domaine de Gensac – Terre à Terre – 2015

Intense, bright dark inky colour with a purple hue. Perfumed and floral aromas emerge like violet, ripe blackberry, cassis, and plum. Very dense and concentrated palate, still in its infancy with layers of floral dark fruit, very high extract but ripe tannin and no hard edges, sweet fruit flavours even if the wine remains dry. Bold, dense and very long finish. An ambitious and daring wine still needing time to soften and develop but very nicely done.
