France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Intense youthful colour, dark purple core, youthful rim, no evolution. Clean nose, young and fresh, no hints of oak here. It’s showing more Cabernet Merlot aromas of plum, crushed red currants, and also a slight herbal spiciness, some fresh herbs in here. Medium-bodied palate, well-kept freshness, we have a youthful acidity there, we still get a sensation of freshly crushed berries, with an emphasis on currants, red currants, a little roundness like plum. It’s well balanced with a medium-long finish, we get some of that herbal spiciness on the finish, perhaps a slightly bit more than medium-long as we get those vibrant berry notes on the finish. Balanced and well-made with modern fruit, for early drinking.
