Dark garnet with a purple hue. Generous and layered nose offering some gamey (but not brett) notes, raw meat, crushed pepper, ripe dark plum, cassis and garrigue. Structured palate - still youthful but ripe texture with rich young tannin, inky dark fruit, well integated oak with along and muscular finish with peppery and meaty notes. still youthful but a great potential for ageing.
