Dark purple core and a lighter rim. Pure nose with both sweet red berries and darker fruit and peppery spice notes. The palate is dense and concentrated with rather high but ripe tannins, good notion of freshness, savoury dark fruit notes with some pepper and garrigue on the finish, warm, and ripe but balanced with fine persistency.
