Inky dark purple colour. Youthful but layered nose with fine oak and ripe cassis, cherry, plum, fine spices and tobacco notes. The palate is dense but fresh and digest with good extract and oak integration, layered with wild berry fruit, cassis, fine spices and a long persistent finish.
