Domaine de La Perruche – Le Chaumont – 2017

Youthful dark purple core. Pure nose, ripe dark berries, cassis and herbal notes like bay leaf and sage. The palate has nice density, yet with loose extract, fresh and juicy with crushed dark berries, a hint of oak and vanilla with bouquet garni and pepper notes on the finish. Very young but already with a certain drinkability and good freshness.
