Dark purple core. Perfumed and floral nose with violet, rose petal, dried herbs, some bell pepper and red berries. Dense palate, still youthful and tannic but nice floral red fruit, crème de cassis, sage, thyme and bay leaf notes, and a fresh and vigorous finish. Good material just a bit on the youthful and tannic side needing another 1-2 years to soften.
