France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Red wine with a quite dense core still with a flush of purple with a ruby rim. Medium intense nose. Displaying quite ripe fruit here. There is sunshine in the glass with ripe dark plum, some fresh crushed berries. Quite discreet oak, with just a hint of vanilla and some pepperiness. Generous and attractive palate. Quite full-bodied, but with a rounded texture. Rather mild tannins in the background. More spiciness is appearing on the palate, with notes of clove, pepper, some ginger. Underlined by that ripe dark fruit. Quite persistent on the palate. It appears youthful but in my mind it is nice modern style. Well-rounded, subtle. It offers this juicy drinkability and pleasure. However, it should have the structure to go on for three, four, five years in a good cellar.
