France,
Sud Ouest,
Red wine with a medium towards deep colour, quite ruby at the core, not a lot of evolution on the rim. The nose is fresh, quite youthful, still quite discreet here. No evidence of oak, rather in a primary fruity style with a mix of crushed red and dark berries, gentle spiciness. Palate has medium weight, still with youthful tannin, quite high acidity; not a really high ripeness in terms of fruit, more on the red fruity side on the palate, with some hints of cranberry. Still no oak. More in a soft and supple style; it starts out with a slightly tannic bite, but the finish is easier and softer. So: rounded style, for I suppose a quite early consumption, in a fresh and pleasant style.
