Medium to deep ruby red colour. Ambitious nose with ripe dark fruit, some new oak, roasted notes and plenty of spices, rather Syrah it seems. The palate is dense and well-rounded with young but grainy tannin, finely integrated oak, peppery dark fruit, tobacco and a well-balanced acidity. Long and dense finish, youthful and vigorous wine, yet perfectly drinkable with plenty of pleasure.
