Medium to deep golden colour. Mature nose displaying new oak and some maturity, floral with honey, saffron, dried apricot, peach, sweet rhubarb and nutty notes. Medium to sweet palate has dried out a bit with age I suppose, yet interesting with layers of spicy and nutty fruit, a hint of oak dominance, very far from a classic style but well-made and ambitious with nice fruit and length.
