Bright dark purple core and hue. The nose displays new oak, some smoky and meaty notes with blackberry, dark cherry and peppery notes. The palate is dense and muscular, youthful and vigorous tannin, some roasted and oak derived notes with spicy dark fruit flavours, long and spicy finish. Still a youthful example requiring further ageing to soften. Fine potential.
