Intense dark purple core. Pure nose, a hint of roasted oak, tobacco, ripe dark berries, liquorice and pepper. Well-balanced palate, dense but rounded texture, youthful but ripe tannin with a fresh acidity underneath, red and dark berry fruit with some vanilla, oak and pepper notes with a good grip and length.
