Dense dark purple core. Ripe nose with darker berry fruit like cassis, plum, cherry and tobacco leaf. Medium bodied palate with a dense core and youthful dark fruit, crushed berries, still a bit on the firm/tannic side with a young acidity, a fairly long finish with some pepper and dry spices. Still a bit tight needing time to soften and develop.
