Inky dark purple almost opaque colour. The nose is layered and offers some new oak, a hint of raw meat, ripe dark fruit like cassis, plum and blackberry with pepper and clove. The palate is very dense endowed with a nice level of freshness, fine toast and oak underneath, ripe but massive tannins, long and lingering finish with nice layers and a superb ageing potential awaits.
