Domaine du Bois de Saint Jean – Comte d’UST – 2015

Medium deep ruby with a purple hue. Intense nose, dark fruity with plum, blackberry and cassis, rather peppery and Syrah-like it seems. The palate is full and ripe with well retained acidity, finely grained tannin, peppery notes and floral dark fruit, dense and chewy on the finish, ambitious and well made, certainly ripe but with well concealed alcohol.
