Domaine du Carrelet – 2020

Dense purple core and a garnet rim. The nose displays generous new oak, vanilla and toast with jammed plum and red berries. The palate is fairly dense, still with a slight extraction and dominant oak flavours, roasted and woody with sweet spice vanilla and discreet fruit, high ripeness, rather long but oak dominated needing long time to soften and settle.
