Domaine du Cassard – Prestige – 2019

Dark ruby red colour. Sweet and youthful aromas of rose petal, jammed berries and plum with some roasted oak. Quite ample palate, still with some oak presence but generous fruit, a slight tannic bite, and a ripe, unctuous and fairly long finish. A youthful example needing some time to settle.
