France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Very youthful appearance here, black-purple core. The nose is also very young, primary. It is sweet ripe fruit, dark berries like blackberry, plum, cassis. No noticeable oak. Medium weight on the palate. Quite lush and attractive fruit, but with a subtle vinification. Quite soft in terms of tannin. A lot of freshness, partially due to its youth. But still with a quite high level of acidity. The fruit is pretty much like on the nose, with blackberry, plum, cassis notes, with some floral hints. Quite long finish. A wine that feels pretty ready to drink now if you enjoy it for its youthful and attractive fruit, but it should have the potential to develop for three, four, five, six years, for whatever style of wine you like.
