France,
Provence,
Rosé wine with a pale colour also sparkling with quite young vivid bubbles. Rich and generous nose, good purity of fruit, some floral notes; hints of red berries, citrus. Creamy texture on the palate, rather full for being a sparkling wine, with a quite mellow acidity, rounded. I suppose this should be judged more as a rosé wine than a sparkling wine; I think we all tend to compare sparkling wines with champagne all the time but I think it’s very reminiscent of a rosé de Provence in terms of structure, with a generous fruitiness. It still gets a good notion of freshness thanks to the mousse and the bubbles. Quite persistent on the palate, pleasurable with some zesty grapey notes on the finish, some discreet red fruity notes. Youthful and fresh, interesting style, and well made.
