France,
Provence,
White wine, youthful colour, light straw, quite pale on the rim. Quite discreet nose, rather elegant, not really a fruit-driven style, it’s more nutty; I get notes of almond, some crushed nuts, hints of citrus and some notes of crushed apple. It has a good bite on the palate, it starts out discreetly but I think it expands well on the palate and it has rather persistent flavour, still in a discreet style not really opulent or flashy but rather on the white fruity apple pear side, underlined by that citrusy spiciness, some notes of citrus zest. It gives a good impression of freshness, it’s an acidity which is rather mellow and rounded. On the finish, those nutty notes are coming back so I would call this more a discreet style, more gastronomic style; should be highlighted with food of course, like most wines are but particularly this more firm and restrained style. Well-made with a good ripeness of fruit and a decently long finish.
