Dark garnet colour with an amber hue. Mature nose offering dried fruit, fig, prune, leather, tobacco and spice. A rich and ample palate, fully open in a traditional long oak-aged style displaying maturity and complexity today, structured and bold with a good degree of freshness underneath, still a tannic bite but charmingly old fashioned, within the frames of purity with a long and spicy finish.
