France,
Burgundy,
Pale yellow colour, youthful with a slight green tinge. Pure nose, still youthful. There’s a slight hint of nuttiness, roasted nuts. Not really new oak, but there might be a hint over there, some discreet wood. The fruit leans more towards lemon, grapefruit. Excellent purity on the palate, good bite; marked by a very nice level of acidity. The fruit is quite broad on the palate. Zesty and lemony, but yet the texture is quite rounded already, with some hints of fresh butter. Still very low traces of oak, but more refined and pure vinification of Chardonnay in a digest and fresh style. Good length, good harmony, will develop over the course of the coming few years, but still very attractive to enjoy now for its freshness.
