France,
Alsace,
White wine, rather golden colour here - quite intense golden colour. Nose is also very intense and generous, very aromatic here with ripe stone fruit, particularly yellow plum; some hints of honey, wax. Very nice, very unctuous texture; there’s a slight hint of residual sugar here but it’s certainly a wine that could be enjoyed as a dry wine because it has a good grip, something almost like a hint of skin contact giving a good lift to the palate, slightly zesty notes, medium high acidity, and layers of luscious fruit like yellow plum, peach, apricot. Good grip, structure and length. Well-made. Certainly a wine with a capacity for aging, but drinks pretty well right now.
