Dark ruby red colour with a purple hue. Intense nose, fine layers, some earth and chalk with ginger, clove, ripe wild berries, sweet apricot and a hint of oak. Nice palate with dense but silky fruit, fine oak integration and layered spiciness, and a supple and long finish, still youthful but very attractive.
