Intense purple colour. Very sweet nose of prune, figs, dates and ripe fruit with some meaty notes. Quite concentrated palate, dense fruit, present but ripe tannin, sweet pepper, clove and dark plum flavours, a hint of sweetness on the finish but good length, ripe and assertive.
