Medium deep ruby red colour with some age on the rim. Intense nose, good purity with spicy dark fruit, peppery notes, clove, fine oak, tobacco and smoke. The palate is dense and full with a mature texture, still good grip and freshness but ripe tannin, juicy dark fruit and long spicy finish, nuanced and balanced.
